Legacy of Alonzo Albert
Alonzo’s Safe Haven Inc. is founded on the lived experience, service, and sacrifice of Alonzo Albert, a decorated United States Army Master Sergeant who honorably served two combat tours in the Vietnam War. His military career was defined by leadership, discipline, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of others.
Like many veterans, Alonzo experienced firsthand the challenges that can arise after service—including the difficulty of transitioning from structured military life to civilian systems that often lack adequate support, housing stability, and understanding of trauma-related needs. His journey exposed a critical truth: service to one’s country does not guarantee security once the uniform is removed
